Dominicans must beat Trinidad

In order for the DR to advance to the next round of the Caribbean Cup, they must beat Antigua and Barbuda which should not be difficult, but must also beat trinidad and Tobago in order to at least reach the second place in its group, which will enable them to advance to the finals. The game against Haiti is a classic, and will be a very difficult one for the DR but the DR will bring a very talented team of players, some of whom play in Europe's second tier leagues

Caribbean finals closing in

The Dominican Republic is closer han ever to reaching the finals of the Caribbean Cup, which if it does it will enable them to reach the Concacaf Gold Cup for the first time in their history. Due to the Dominican Republic having achieved new heights, in their campaign to reach the Caribbean Cup finals and finally the Concacaf Gold Cup, the Bachata Boys are ranked at 92nd in the FiFa ranking, which is a ranking higher than El Salvador.
