<p>Many things happened in the world of Caribbean Football. To begin Cuba started the Caribbean Cup loosing to the likes of Martinique which was due in part to the many dessertions the team had when they traveled to Canada to face their national team. Later they licked their wounds, got their heads together and ended their campaign by defeating the likes of Haiti and Trinidad and Tobago which was no small feat. The Dominican Republic had their best year in Soccer history and reached the eights of the Caribbean Cup to then fall to Haiti 2_1 and Trinidad and Tobago 2_1. It is now being said that their star player Jonathan Fana is leaving the Puerto Rican Islander and his new team will be anounced soon. It has also being rumored that other players from the Dominican football team, will be heading to Panama for tryouts, good luck to them. Haiti had a great year which is proved by the fact that they ended up being third in the whole of Concacaf according to Fifa, after their stelar participation in the Caribbean Cup.

Even though Atletico Madrid gave it their all, and at the begining even seemed as if they were going to be able to at least maintain a tie, they were beaten 4-1. This outcome makes the possibility that Barcelona may win La Liga, a bit more difficult.
Real Madrid's greatest fear
Who would have thought that Barcelona would be this close behind Real Madrid during this season? Not even Guardiola whom thought that it was almost impossible. Today Barcelona could get even closer, if for some reason Real Madrid ties and hey; why not they could even lose. All the pressure is on Real Madrid, which will make for a juicy match.

Cesar Garcia in tryouts with PR Islanders
There are a lot of Bachateros rooting for Cesar Garcia that's for sure, because this could mean that the Puerto Rico Islanders could be the ticket to Cesar Garcia to play in the Copa de Oro and Concacaf Champions ligue. Fana already played in most Concacaf tournaments but this could be the year when the D.R could have the most number of players at Gold Cup and Concachampions. Let's not forget about Lloyd whom plays with Arabe Unido of Panama, whose team might clasify to those tournaments too.

!!Hasta la Vista Mourinho!!
It looks like Mourinho got tired of the Real Madrid Fans and the Spanish press because he wants to quit the helms of the Spanish team and go to the Premier League the playing style of which he claims to like better. He claims that the team management cares too much about what the press says, and the fact that the press has published so much bad publicity about him is not helping one bit in my opinion.
