Almost three years ago at Cuscatlan Stadium the Salvadoran Football team defeated in a contested game a less experienced Dominican team with a score of 3 to 2 and erased all Dominican hopes of advancing to the next stages for the first time ever. On Saturday the 30th of August these two teams will face each other in a game that Dominican fans consider a chance to get even. Since the last two games were very contested the match on Saturday may prove to be a very evenly matched one since the Salvadoran team will be a very different one from that of 3 years ago with many young local players. On the other hand the Dominican team is the same one albeit with more experience.

Dominican Republic VS El Salvador
On the 30th of August the Dominican Republic and El Salvador will play a friendly match in El Salvadors Cuscatlan stadium, which will help them prepare for their respective upcoming competitions in September. In 2011 El Salvador defeated the Dominican squad twice with 3-2 and 2-1, which diminished the Dominican dreams of going to the world cup. This friendly match will serve as a way to measure both squads growth in these past three years after their last encounter.
