USA “Aztecazo” Difficult
It increasingly becomes more and more difficult for the
stars and stripes team, as it is popularly known to defeat the Mexican Football
team at the Azteca on the 26th, even though the Mexican national team has shown little to brag about,
after tying with the Jamaican team 0-0 at home. The stars and stripes team will be
missing key players like Donovan, Dempsey with a calf injury, Fabian Johnson
with hip problems, Cherundolo with knee issues and their star goalie Tim Howard,
whom fractured two back bones.
Faña delivers hat trick for Alianza FC.
Dominican striker
Jonathan Faña performed a hat trick for his team Alianza FC., Against Salvadorian
team Once Municipal which sinks the latter closer to relegation. Faña whom had
not scored since his arrival to the Salvadorian team scored his first goal at
the tenth minute in a 7-0 win for the “Albos”. Odir Flores scored during a
penalty shoot at the 20th, and the rest is history for the Canaries,
whom failed to put a stop to the goal scoring thirsty Alianza.

Dominican Republic VS Haiti
The Dominican Republic
is set to play two friendly games against Haiti,
which is currently ranked 4th in Concacaf ahead of Honduras and Costa Rica on the 22nd and
the 26th of this month. Its being rumored that one of the matches
will take place at the Dominican
Republic’s national stadium, which at the
moment is in dire conditions. It is more probable that the match held on
Dominican soil, will be held at one of the smaller Dominican stadiums, possibly
at the Park of the East Stadium on the east side of Santo Domingo. The second
match is to be played at the Sylvio Cator Stadium in Port Au Prince.
