New Zealand has asked for a friendly game against the
Dominican Republic to be held in October of this year, in preparation for their
eminent game against Mexico in order to qualify for the FIFA 2014 world cup.
The Quisqueya Stadium will not be available for this game, since this game
would coincide with the Dominican baseball winter season. The Dominican
Football Federation will be asking the Olympic authorities to repair the Felix
Sanchez national stadium, to enable it to be used for this friendly game which would be held in October.
