The small nation has been making strides in the world of Football thanks to their talented Footballers the pressure being put on the Dominican federation on the part of Dominican football fans whom are becoming ever demanding. The recent surge is also due to the better than usual outcomes like the great job done by the Dominican U20 team in their past qualification matches in which they were undefeated but eliminated to not gaining the needed points.
